The new Los Angeles magazine app delivers the award-winning monthly magazine as you know and love it, enhanced for digital readers with an interactive design. Los Angeles Magazine Subscription Information: Subscription Length options include monthly or yearly. The monthly subscription is $1.99, renews on a monthly basis, and during the monthly subscription, one issue will be delivered. The yearly subscription is $14.99, renews on a yearly basis, and during the yearly subscription, 12 issues will be delivered. Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the users Account Settings after purchase. No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during active subscription period. Please note that any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication. Dont download this app if you are a subscriber to the magazine and think you can read it while away. They want to charge an additional for for something you already pay for. A scam.
This app stinks from an account perspective. Theres no simple way to log into your account. Your only choice is either to subscribe or restore previous subscription. Ive been trying to restore a previous subscription for about 45 minutes but it doesnt seem to do anything. This app doesnt work very well. I should be able to simply enter in my account number, my email address, my ZIP Code, etc. and log into my account and download my issues. Every other magazine app works that way, why is this one so difficult to use?
This app does not allow you access if you have a print subscription. Come on guys, get up to date. I have twenty magazine print subscriptions and this is the ONLY ONE that makes you pay separately for digital access!
Print Subscribers & LA MAG ADVERTISERS Note: You have to purchase a separate digital subscription to access content. Just another blatant money grab by Emmis Communications. Makes me wish I hadnt prepaid for a three year print subscription.
App seems to work fine and has a nice look; however, Im very disappointed that I must pay for a second subscription to read the digital version. I subscribe to numerous magazines, and this is the only one that doesnt give you a free digital version with your print subscription. I love Los Angeles Mag, but this blatant disregard for customer satisfaction is making me question my desire to continue subscribing.
